Castelvecchio is just few kms off from the Albenga coast, in the Val Neva valley just passed the typical medieval village of Cisano in the Neva valley and Conscente with a beautiful castle (private). After Conscente you can take the road on the right to go to Zuccarello and Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena and Balestrino in the Toirano Varatella valley.  Typical dish of the area: "ravioli" with Dolceacqua rossese "one of the best" wines.
