The Merula valley has the interesting itinerary such as the one that goes from Stellanello to Vendone in the Savona Province, near the interesting Castellermo and through 20 km of the intinerary where was written this famous song during WW2. One of the road takes you then to Pieve di Teco in the Arroscia valley. Ligurian and somewhere Piedmontese gastronomy in this valley. Olive oil, cheese, raspbberries, bilberries and mushroom-oil are to be considered together with Pigato, Dolcetto or Ormeasco wines.
