The Lerrone valley has Garlenda has main centre. This is a pleasant centre situated at 70 m on sea-level and has been the place of a marquisate and still preserving artistic memories of a glorious past well in evidence with the Costa-Del Carretto castle of the XVIIth century and in the parish church with precious paintings. The many interesting itineraries have all the golf course as beautiful green panorama. A vsit is due to the old oak, a National monument. One of the road takes you then to Pieve di Teco in the Arroscia valley. Ligurian and somewhere Piedmontese gastronomy in this valley. Olive oil, cheese, raspbberries, bilberries and mushroom-oil are to be considered together with Pigato, Dolcetto or Ormeasco wines.
